LOCATION: off Oahu Island across from Malaekahana Beach Park

- about 720 feet off Malaekahana State Recreation Area
- its dunes are part of the Hawaii State Seabird Sanctuary
- access to the dunes area is by permit only
- the islet's three beaches can be accessed by the public
