Proceed mauka on Tantalus Drive. When you get close to the top, the road narrows to one lane. Yield to oncoming traffic. Just after crossing this narrow stretch, look for the Kalawahine Trailhead on the left. There are a few parking spaces a bit further up on the right side of the road.
