The Ohana Reef Lanai Hotel and the Ohana Royal Islander Hotel were demolished as part of the Waikiki Beach Walk Redevelopment Project. A high rise condotel was built on the property formerly occupied by those two hotels. The new hotel was known as the Trump Waikiki from 2009-2023 and it was re-named the Wakea Waikiki and re-branded a Hilton hotel in February of 2024.
