The annual Lanai Pineapple Festival takes place every July and it is a celebration of Lanai's history of pineapple plantations and ranches. The festival features pineapple cooking and eating contests, live entertainment, local arts and crafts, and food booths. The festival usually takes place the first Saturday of July in Lanai City's Dole Park.
