The Big Island Chocolate Festival was established to promote the cacao industry on the Big Island of Hawaii by providing educational and outreach opportunity for local cacao farmers, the hospitality industry and cacao enthusiasts. The Festival typically features seminars, demonstrations, a student chef competition, a professionally judged taste-off competition, a gala fundraiser and a silent auction.
