If you visit this forum without logging on, the default time zone will be Hawaii's time zone:
TIME ZONE: Hawaiian-Aleutian Standard Time (HST)
FORMERLY KNOWN AS: Alaska-Hawaii Standard Time
RELATIONSHIP TO GMT: GMT minus 10 hours
DST Status: Hawaii does not observe Daylight Savings Time
After you register for a user account, and if you are logged on, you can change the default time zone for your account in the User Control Panel by doing the following:
- Select "User CP" from the blue-gray bar at the top of the forum*
- Select "Edit Options" from the menu on the left side of the page
- Scroll down to "Date & Time Options" (near bottom of page)
- Select your time zone in the drop-down box
- Select "Save Changes" at the bottom of the page
* you will only see the "User CP" link if you are logged on. If you are not logged on you will see a "Register" link instead of the User Control Panel link.
Done!
If you take the above steps to customize the time zone for your forum user account, whenever you are logged on, the forum times and calendar times will be those in your own time zone. If you don't take those steps the dates and times in this forum will be those in the Hawaiian-Aleutian Time Zone.
