The annual Hawaii Central Park Picnic (http://www.halawai.org/node/182) is a potluck community picnic and gathering originally founded more then 20 years ago by the local Hawaiian community in New York City. More then 300 people usually attend and they all bring Hawaiian style potluck dishes, musical instruments, Hawaiian music CDs, and hula skills. No alcoholic beverages please and everyone is asked to please bring trash bags to help clean up.
